Service Offer

KCVYS can now offer Passenger Assistant training

Our executive officer Barry Clout qualified as a Community Transport Association trainer for their 'PAT's scheme.

Training and accreditation can be given for the basic unit (A) as well as the additional units for those working in organisations with either vulnerable young people or older people.

Those operating accessible vehicles have legal responsibility for maintenance and use of tails lifts, clamping of wheelchairs and a high level of duty of care for those with mobility problems. Courses can be delivered to cover these points.
