PAT
We are now providing Passenger Assistant Training
(PAT) particularly for those organisations operating ‘accessible’
minibuses.
Those operating accessible vehicles have a legal
responsibility for maintenance and use of tail lifts, clamping of
wheelchairs and a high level of duty of care for those with mobility
problems. Courses can be delivered to cover these points.
Training and accreditation can be given for the
basic unit (A) as well as the additional units for those working in
organisations with either vulnerable young people or older people.

PCV
Anyone passing
their driving test after 1/1/97 will not have D1 entitlement on their
driving licence.
So, anyone who is driving a minibus and being paid needs this
training to gain a D1, otherwise they're not driving legally.
By arrangement
with sponsoring organisations we can provide two levels of training.
1) Upgrading existing MiDAS certified drivers with D1 (restricted) for full
PCV D1.
2) Full training under ‘L ‘Plates for B/B1 drivers to obtain PCV driver
status (D1 only)
